Outside of the office, Kennton is a dedicated family man. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, whether it’s cheering at his kid’s various sporting events or enjoying family activities. When he’s not busy with work or family, he loves relaxing in sunny Florida and indulging in his favorite pastimes—movies, swimming, and dining out with his wife.

Shira Krenek, a lifelong resident of Sumner County, KS, is a licensed insurance agent with Wheat State Insurance Group. With a strong commitment to serving her community, Shira provides expert insurance advice and personalized service to her clients. When she's not working with clients, she is a dedicated wife and mom who enjoys the thrill of barrel racing, balancing her professional life with her passion for family and rodeo sports. Shira’s connection to her roots and her love for family and horses define her vibrant, hardworking spirit.

Jessica Smith has been an insurance agent since 2009 and became a valued member of Wheat State Insurance Group in 2012. Licensed in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health, Jess brings years of experience and dedication to her clients. Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors with her husband, Ryan, and their beloved big dogs. Jess has a passion for outdoor activities like fishing, target shooting, riding quads, and tending to their 45 chickens and garden. She also enjoys refinishing antique furniture, a craft passed down from her father. A proud fan of the KU Jayhawks, Kansas City Royals, and Kansas City Chiefs, Jess’s enthusiasm for life extends beyond the office and into everything she does.

Katherine Terry is the Office Manager at Wheat State Insurance Group, bringing a diverse background in insurance, accounting, city government, and entrepreneurship. 

Outside of the office, she dedicates her time to caring for her grandson and working with animal rescues, having fostered animals for more than a decade, including an iguana, duck, and numerous puppies and dogs. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys baking cakes and cupcakes for special occasions and never misses the chance to cheer on K-State and the Kansas City Chiefs!

With a dual career background, he has been a licensed Realtor® since 1994 and has worked in the insurance industry since 2004. Jason joined Wheat State Insurance Group in 2015 as a licensed Property & Casualty Agent. He is married to his best friend, Sydney, and together they have three children: Jordan, Andrew, and Hank. In his free time, Jason enjoys traveling to ocean destinations, attending live concerts, camping, and spending quality time with family and friends.
