Quick Wins for Spring: 7 Thinks You'll Thank Yourself for Doing

Spring has that “new chapter” energy… but none of us are trying to overhaul our entire lives before lunch. So here’s the realistic version: seven small tasks you can knock out in 10–20 minutes each — and they genuinely make the rest of the year smoother.

1) Do the 2-minute unsubscribe sweep
Search your email for “unsubscribe” and be ruthless. Less inbox clutter = less stress.

2) Check auto-renewals
Streaming services, apps, subscriptions you forgot existed… this is the easiest “raise” you’ll ever give yourself.

3) Replace your HVAC filter
Boring, yes — but it’s a quick win for airflow, efficiency, and spring allergies.

4) Confirm your photos are actually backed up
Open your phone and make sure iCloud/Google Photos/Drive is syncing (not just “set up”).

5) Upgrade one important password
Start with email or banking. Bonus points for turning on two-factor authentication.

6) Review your “who gets what” info
If life has changed recently (new home, marriage, divorce, new baby), it’s worth checking beneficiaries and key documents. Not urgent — just smart.

7) Do one small home win
Pick one: clear the junk drawer, start a donate box, clean out your car, replace batteries. Small… but weirdly satisfying.

That’s it. No pressure to do all seven — even one is a win.
